Sunday Whirl

No Time for Weeping
I ransacked through
Long held hopes and dreams
The vision is a blur
The future wrapped in fog
Lucky charms hang from my belt
I interview myself
Place stickers on dreams
To be folded and kept
I confide confidentially
I would trade all the customers
For one who understands
No time for weeping
What is done is done
It hangs before you
I wonder what those lucky charms are..special I am sure..and yes..hopefully there is always somebody who will understand..wonderful whirl..Jae
Lucky charms hang from my belt… love this… great poem, Annelle!

“What’s done is done”, very true, Annell. This very melancholy. The words brought some sadness to some of us.

Yes, perhaps a parallel lesson? I find often the same lessons I am dealing with with my art “hung before you” as in my life. Thanks for your comments. Sometimes sad, sometimes not. But what is “done is done.” Annell Livingston HC 74 Box 21860 El Prado, NM 87529

I would trade all the customers
For one who understands…Love it! and the photo.
The future IS often wrapped in flog, I think. We just have to keep walking through it. Well wordled.
The active tone expresses the self interview.
Hmmm… mysterious, beginning with hopes and dreams, but ending with “What is done is done”. I like the line about trading all the customers “For one who understands”.

I felt some of the sadness Pamela mentions. Beautiful poem to evoke such emotion. I like “place stickers on dreams.”
Nicely done! I especially liked: “The future wrapped in fog.” Great image/line.
Sad and resigned, Annell. Nicely done.
