Wordle Sunday Whirl #40
Ashes and Red Out Poker
Small ashen clouds
Scattered in early morning sky
Like shards of tea leaves
Found in the bottom of a cup
Whisper hopes and dreams
Of young girls
Telling stories
Sisters with a knack
For charming lies
Scalding the heart
Of a young lover
Crush the instinct
For carnal urges
There is a subtle slice of harshness running through the veins of this piece..a mix of ash and red hot pokers..Jae 😉
I love the way you used the words! Wonderful writing! “Small ashen clouds” and “shards of tea leaves” are such nice images!
Awesome use of the wordle words……good one, Annell.
Beautifully wordled, Annell. You used the words very artistically.
Very nicely done. Quite charming.
Ooh, but those sisters are cruel. Great wordling
Neatly turned. None of them sound forced. I especially like “shards” used with tea leaves. (you might even leave out the “tea” in the next line, since it’s so concise)
Thank you for your comments. Drop the second “tea” perfect, and I did. Annell Livingston HC 74 Box 21860 El Prado, NM 87529

It amazes me how many ways the same set of words can be used. From warmth and love to chills, mystery and intrigue.

Very good, love these two lines”

The best poems make you forget there was a wordle. Good one.
