Magpie Tales #93
The Little Red Sofa
Alone on sidewalk
In a town unfamilar
I pulled the red valvet
Close around me
No one to the right
No one left
The street is empty
Shabby and worn
Abandoned
Around three
Shadows creep
On the dirty wall
Behind me
I’ll just wait for you here
Leaving me
Was a mistake
Once a pround possion
Now free for anyone to take
Sad, Annell. I will claim the red sofa as my own!
Thank you… annell@taosnet.com

It’s strange how things so wanted become obsolete..behind the sofa was a dream..for more comfort..a fine place to sit..a different view point..I hope it fulfilled its part before it was consigned to the side walk..Jae
Thanks for your comments Jae. Hope all goes well for you. You are in my thoughts always…. through rain or shine. xoxoxoxo annell@taosnet.com
